When you're playing FishVille, you of course are trying to increase your coin stores quickly. But in order to unlock new options for game play and new items to buy, you have to rack up some serious FishVille experience points too. You will, of course, naturally do this as you go about your business in the game. But there are a few things you can do that will help you to build up these experience points more quickly when you're trying to focus on that.
Experienced Fish
Any time that you raise and sell a fish, it will give you some benefit in the form of FishVille experience points. The timing of your sale will have an impact on how many you get, though, so you should take this into account before you decide it's time to sell. Your fish will all go through several stages of growth, and as they reach each milestone, their value in terms of both coins and experience will increase. Simply waiting until your fish have fully matured will make it possible for you to get the most experience points possible for each sale.
Experience Over Time
When you're trying to max out your total FishVille experience points, it's also a good idea to take a look at the ratio for each particular fish in terms of experience points earned per hour. It's easy to be fooled when you see some of the big experience point totals you can get by selling a particular fish, but these fish with the big lump payouts are often not the best bets if you're trying to earn experience points quickly.
This is because they are often the fish that take the longest to grow as well. If that's the case, you can often get a lot more FishVille experience points in the same amount of time it would take you to raise one of these big-point fish by raising a bunch of shorter-cycle fish instead. These types of fish often don't pay out the big chunks of experience points at once, but since you can rotate them through your tanks so quickly, you wind up making more experience points more quickly than you would if you had just raised one set of the fish with the longer growth cycle.
Experience points might not seem as exciting or important as coins when you're first setting up your tanks in FishVille. After all, you can't buy anything interesting with them. They do, however, make it possible for you to explore a lot more options in the game, so it's a good idea to maximize your earnings potential for them whenever you can.
